UTAH AAU-SALT LAKE COUNTY

AAU TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

All entry fees due the Friday before the tournament starts.

$10.00 discount if paid by the deadline.

Coaches, to register for a tournament do either of the following:

1. To sign up on line go to www.slcorecsports.com and go to

utahaau.com and follow the directions.

2. You can go to the Salt Lake County office at

5201 South Murray Park Lane.

You can pay at this office. If you have questions for

Salt Lake County call 270-7260.

Once you have signed up for the tournament call Dan Cowan

to double check the entry.

AAU CARDS ARE GOOD FOR ALL AAU SPORTS.

Coaches, players, and parents:

We would like to thank you for your support for our AAU programs. We strive to make our basketball program the best youth program in the state. We realize that costs have gone up this year because of increases in site fees and officials. This is the first increase in three or four years. We will strive to keep costs as low as possible. This year will bring some small changes to our program. Dan Cowan will organize all leagues and tournaments, but will not be involved at the sites. Scott Briggs will supervise and run all leagues and tournaments once they begin. Call Dan to get into tournaments. Call Scott with concerns once the tournaments begins. Mark Dubach is site supervisor at BIngham High, Scott Briggs at West Jordan, Tony Cannon at Alta, and Marc Hunter at Jordan High. All supervisors are head coaches or Athletic Directiors at the school. We have the best supervisors in the state with a wealth of experience. We hope you will have a great experience this coming year.

Grades 3 thru 11 Boys Only

Seven games plus single elimination tournament

2. Memorial Day Tournament-May 23,24 and 26

Grades 3 thru 11 Boys and Girls

Three Game Guarantee

$255.00 before deadline

$265.00 after deadline

3. Summer Shootout-July 28,29 and 30-2008

Four Game Guarantee

$285.00 before deadline

$295.00 after deadline

AAU Cards are good from Sept. 1 until August 31

of every year. $14.00 player card and $16.00 for the coach.

CARDS ARE GOOD FOR ALL AAU SPORTS

Cards cannot be purchased thru Salt Lake County. All cards

can be purchased one of three ways,

1. Purchase cards at Tournament site from Rachel Cowan from the AAU office.

2. Send roster and payment to the AAU office at 901 W. Baxter,

South Jordan, Utah 84095

3. Purchase individual cards on the National AAU website.

All tournaments are run thru Utah AAU and Salt Lake County

Recreation. Sign up thru Salt Lake County. Phone 270-7260

Please Note: There will be a manditory check-in before play

begins at all tournaments. Roster required with AAU card

numbers. ( You can purchase cards at this time). This

will occur at tournament site. Rachel Cowan from the AAU will

check teams in. Tournaments have three game guarentee with

pool champions playing for over-all championships.

State Championship is a four game guarentee with

a Division I and Division II Tournament. Spring Fling

is a seven game league with single elimination tournament

after seven games. We look forward to another great year!!!!!!
